Housing for the Homeless
Permanent Housing is a division of the Lighthouse Counseling Center’s Chemical Dependency Recovery Program.
Housing is grant funded by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Residents may live in Permanent Housing indefinitely. To this end, heavy emphasis will be placed on recovery and treatment for substance abuse and/or mental illness issues, medical stability, education and employment options.
Residents have an apartment which has at least one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room.
Residents must be able to live independently.
The Lighthouse offers 12 units of supportive permanent housing for homeless persons with a substance abuse disorder and a diagnosis of HIV or AIDS.
The Lighthouse offers 27 units of supportive permanent housing for homeless persons with a substance abuse disorder and a co-occurring mental illness diagnosis.
The Lighthouse offers 10 units of supportive permanent housing for homeless women with a substance abuse disorder and who are either pregnant or have dependent children.
