Housing for Those with Co-occuring Disorders

It is estimated that up to 7 million adults in the United States have a combination of at least one co-occurring mental health and substance-related disorder in a given year.

There is a high correlation between homelessness and chronic mental illness and/or substance addiction.

Lighthouse Counseling Center provides a multiple service system of substance abuse treatment, housing, provisions of basic necessities, on-going assessments, and case management services for those with a co-occurring disorder.

The Lighthouse offers 27 units of supportive permanent housing for homeless persons with a substance abuse disorder and a co-occurring mental illness diagnosis.
